Lots of things to do and the property is beautiful. Enjoyed fishing at a peaceful and beautiful place. The cabins are nice and fordable. Great place for gatherings! I can't wait to bring my kiddos. Miss Sally is a very sweet and kind person and enjoyed talking to her when we arrived. Her husband is a down to earth kind of guy. Great peoples... We will be back!
We have stayed here several times. The last time was for Father's Day. This was also the weekend our youngest got engaged. It was so special to be there as a family during this special event. It was relaxing and the cabin we stayed in was perfect. Rustic cabin, nice and clean. The porch area is perfect for dinner time. We grilled, fished and had a blast being together as a family. We will be going back to celebrate my 50th birthday and 3 other family members birthday. Highly recommend this as a family getaway.
Beautiful location. peaceful and quiet. The lake is beautiful, the cabins are rustic, it reminds me of going home to visit family. My kids love it too. we are there several times a year and the memories the kids are creating make me glad we found this treasure. the cabins are clean and comfortable and well maintained. the lake is peaceful and great for swimming, canoeing and going off the rope swing. We love the campfires and the porches for sitting and talking. This is great place! we will be back, hopefully many more times.
My nephew and I stayed at Hidden Hollow for a weekend hiking trip at Cloudland Canyon. We tried to stay at a cabin at the park, however they were full. We loved Hidden Hollow. The cabin was so nice. Rustic and cozy, perfect for the mountains. The grounds are so nice and clean, well kept. There’s a nice lake and hiking trails. The couple that run the place are so nice and were so easy to work with. I would recommend staying here rather than the park. I will definitely be back with family and friends!
The family stayed there for 3 nights in 1997. We stayed in Tanglewood Log Cabin and it was a fantastic time. Pop and Bonnie Jean were two of the nicest people we've ever met. The cabin came with its very own cat named Dirty Face and he was great. He was in and out constantly and slept with all of us thru the night. Relaxing, out of the way, I don't remember even hearing hwy noise. Pre-GPS, I think I drove by the turnoff at least 4 times before I found it.
Stunning location and very friendly hosts! Can't wait to send our kids here for summer camp! The pond is beautiful.
This place is amazing!! David and Sally are wonderful people, so sweet and generous. Hidden Hollow is one of my favorite places to visit. I've had nothing but a wonderful experience! Great facilities, well cared for and kept clean. It's a perfect weekend getaway!
Breathtaking lake, quality made cabins. We stayed at Tanglewood cabin for our one-year anniversary—we didn't even miss the wifi or TV whatsoever! Take a break away from the computers, the black mirrors of technology, speak with Ms Sally, and return to being in the moment with the people you love. That's what Ms Sally and Hidden Hollow gave us during our vacation, and now we're already missing the place!
